
Intense rainfall overnight has led to the closure of Ross Lane, just west of Lennox Head.
Ballina Shire Council staff said, “Once the water on Ross Lane recedes Council’s crews will inspect the road to ensure it is safe to travel on before it is reopened”.
“Please avoid non-essential travel and stay up to date with current road closures and cautions at livetraffic.com.
“Ballina Shire Council staff regularly check roads across our shire and signpost flooded roads however not all urban roads can be signposted – so be aware of changing conditions in your local area.
