Quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with, the Wild Women are bringing three dazzling performances to The Echo’s big birthday bash on 6 June at Club Byron.
What began as small burlesque classes in Byron Bay has rapidly evolved into one of the region’s most talked about live experiences.
Created by performer and director Cha Cha Bang, Wild Women celebrates local women through the art of striptease, theatrical storytelling and unapologetic self-expression.
Turned on, moved to tears, goosebumps and profoundly inspired are just some of the reactions audience members have shared, with the production now reaching thousands across multiple sold out seasons.
For the women in the show, this has become a powerful space to reclaim confidence, visibility and sensuality within a deeply supportive community.
The production recently wrapped its fifth season at the iconic Brunswick Picture House and will make appearances at upcoming local events, including Barefoot Beats and The Echo’s 40th!

Wild Women’s next season is set to launch later this year, with casual Monday night classes at Embody Studio beginning throughout June.
