Whether you are stepping on a skateboard for the first time, sharpening your skills or getting ready to compete, a free school holiday workshop is being offered to all female skaters up to 25 years.
As part of Momentum at Lismore Skatepark, the skateboarding clinic is open to all ability levels.
Led by coach and 36 Chambers Skate founder, Sam James, the clinic will be held on Saturday July 4.
This clinic is part of the Momentum All Girls Skate Event, taking place across Saturday and Sunday, July 4 and 5, bringing some of Australia’s top female skateboarders to Lismore for street and bowl competitions, coaching, food, music and plenty of action.
Backing women and girls
Momentum say they are about backing women and girls to build confidence, skills and connection through skateboarding at Lismore’s world-class skatepark. The mentoring and participation component of Momentum is supported by the NSW Government through the Office for Youth Holiday Break program.
Clinic details:
Saturday, July 4, from 12 pm to 2 pm at the Lismore Skatepark. The clinic is free to join and you can sign up on the day.
