
An engaging and informative Science in the Pub event is planned on Thursday, 16 July, from 5pm at Two Mates Brewing, South Lismore.
Organisers say the public event ‘will shine a spotlight on the transformative river rehabilitation projects underway in our region, their positive impact on river health, and how they are contributing to increasing flood resilience’.
They say, ‘Hosted by Richmond Landcare Inc and involving local scientists, environmental experts, and project coordinators, the evening will feature short, accessible talks followed by a Q&A session where attendees can ask questions and share their insights’.
‘Light refreshments are included in your ticket, with dinner and drink available for purchase. With live music and an open fire pit for warmth, this evening promises to be informative and community building, with a relaxed atmosphere for learning and conversation’.
