The Pocket Winter Festival is set to return on Sunday, 21 June, from 10am to 2pm, bringing together the community for a day of music, food, entertainment and family fun at The Pocket Public School.
A much-loved local tradition, the festival showcases the vibrant spirit of the Northern Rivers, with live music, children’s activities, delicious food and drinks.
Organised by the school’s Parents and Citizens Association (P&C), the event is their largest annual fundraiser, with proceeds supporting the schools’ performing arts program which has gone from strength to strength in recent years.
‘The Winter Festival is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, celebrate local talent and have a fun family day out. It has also allowed us to raise much-needed funds for our performing arts program – seeing our choir selected to perform at the Sydney Opera House, and our dance troupe gaining access to North Coast Combined School Sport.
Entry is by gold coin donation.
