The Festival of Stone sold out in June with over 2,000 people enjoying good music, great food, and the festival’s namesake Stone Brew Beer.
They also raised $30,419 for Fletcher Street Cottage which helps deliver vital services and programs for locals experiencing homelessness and hardship. This includes meals, showers, crisis relief, housing support and a dedicated Women’s Space.
‘Festival Of The Stone is all about community and we’re so thrilled that Byron has once again rallied together to raise these much-needed funds for Fletcher Street Cottage while also having a great time. Good music, good beer and a good cause,’ said Paul Tansley from Stone & Wood.
Since it began, Festival of the Stone has raised over $130,000 for local charities.
‘We’re incredibly grateful to Stone & Wood and everyone who came along to party with a purpose at Festival of the Stone this year,’ said Damian Farrell, Manager, Fletcher Street Cottage.
‘To see our community come together in this way means so much. These funds will make a real difference for Byron locals doing it tough, helping us provide practical support, connection and care at Fletcher Street Cottage when it’s needed most.’
