As the cooler months settle over Byron Bay, No Bones is embracing the season with a fresh menu designed for long lunches that roll into dinner, shared plates and evenings spent lingering over good food and cocktails. Tucked just moments from Main Beach, the local favourite has built a reputation for bold flavours, creative cooking and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps both locals and visitors returning time and time again.
The new seasonal menu continues that philosophy, showcasing produce-driven dishes that are both comforting and inventive. Standout plates include hibachi grilled beans with creamy ajo blanco, smoked almonds and herb oil, housemade ravioli filled with potato and celeriac and finished with fermented cashew and orange butter, and sticky tofu served with whipped peanut and sesame cream, crispy lotus root and fragrant herbs. Whether you’re ordering a few dishes to share or settling in with one of their chef-curated banquet menus, there’s plenty to discover. And no visit is complete without the restaurant’s famous tiramisu, a dessert that has become a favourite among regulars.
The experience extends well beyond the menu. Mondays are made for No Bones popular $20 Carbonara, available from 5pm, while Happy Hour runs every evening from 5pm to 6pm – $14 cocktails, $10 mocktails, $9 natural wines and $8 local tap beers. On the first Friday of every month, the restaurant welcomes local jazz crew Mondo Hum from 7pm.
Increasingly, No Bones is also becoming a destination for celebrations. The intimate restaurant provides a unique backdrop for birthdays, engagement parties, wedding celebrations, corporate dinners and private events, with tailored food and beverage packages designed around each occasion. Combining seasonal menus, handcrafted drinks and genuine hospitality, it’s a space that feels effortlessly special without ever being overly formal.
Whether you’re discovering the new menu, settling in for live jazz with friends, or planning your next celebration, No Bones continues to offer the kind of dining experience that captures the relaxed spirit of Byron Bay – thoughtful food, great drinks and memorable moments shared around the table.
