Member for Lismore Janelle Saffin is calling on residents of the Lismore electorate to get their nominations in for the 2027 NSW Women of the Year Awards.
‘These awards are about honouring the women and girls who make a difference in their community through their courage and leadership and who inspire others,’ Ms Saffin said.
‘I hope there are lots of nominations from across the Lismore electorate because we have many inspiring women and girls deserving of recognition.’
Six categories
- NSW Premier’s Woman of Excellence

The award winners will be announced in March next year, during NSW Women’s Week.
Nominations close on Thursday 13 August 2026. Details are on the NSW Woman of the Year Awards Website.
