One of the Northern Rivers’ biggest tennis events is set to return later this month, with the 2026 Mullumbimby Community Open taking place on Saturday, 25 and Sunday, 26 July across Mullumbimby and Bangalow tennis clubs.
Tournament organisers are encouraging players of all ages and abilities to get involved, with entries closing on Saturday, 18 July.
Fun tennis weekend for everyone
The event will feature Open, B Division, and Junior competitions, with $1,000 prize money on offer for both the men’s and women’s open singles champions. Players may enter up to three events, making it a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a full weekend of tennis.
A new addition for 2026 is the Orange Ball (9 and under) event, designed to introduce younger players to tournament tennis in a fun, supportive environment with coach supervision throughout the day.
The weekend promises more than just tennis, with live music, BBQ, and a welcoming community atmosphere creating an enjoyable experience for players, families, and spectators alike.
Whether you’re chasing dreams, gaining valuable match experience or simply looking to enjoy a weekend of community sport, organisers hope to see a strong turnout from across the region.
