While the PM spins and avoids transparency and the foreign minister prefers to yell abuse to take up time and never gives a straight answer to a straight question from the Greens, new data published by Guardian Australia highlights the extent to which Australia is slowly, but surely losing our sovereignty and being leveraged into the next US-led war.
Thanks to Labor voters. Australia was the first country in the world to support the illegal US and Israeli genocide in the Middle East. New data published by Guardian Australia maps the extent to which the US military has ‘unfettered and unhindered’ access to over 100 US- and Australian-run installations. Has anyone questioned the social licence of all of this engineered by a handful of politicians?
If the purpose of a government is to protect its citizens, then it’s obvious, as we have seen in the Middle East conflict, that US bases will always be a target and Albanese is putting Australia at the front line of the next US forever war. Apparently, Labor will never say no to Trump. ‘In total the US military and US defence corporation has control of or access to 110 facilities on Australian territory’.
While the economy goes down the tube from the countless billions being funnelled into the US war machine (AUKUS and numerous other questionable projects, not to mention where will the high-grade nuclear waste will be stored, certainly not in the US or UK as apparently they do not have satisfactory sites), when will voters wake up to the futility of mainstream parties aligning ourselves with the US and yet another futile and failed war run by a pro-war President and an accused Israeli war criminal.
Is it really so hard to have sane leaders who realise there are no winners in wars only cruelty and devastation?
