Wandana Brewing Co. is set to host a big weekend, kicking off on Thursday with their popular weekly Trivia Night. The jackpot bonus is now sitting at $450, that’s plenty of reason to dust off the team and show up.
On Friday, Wandana is hosting a special Trivia Night Fundraiser in support of Mullum Public School. The Taproom is still open for drinks, so pop in for a cold one and support the school by bidding at their silent auction.
On Saturday the Taproom transforms into a vinyl records oasis for the return of the Record Fair. From noon to 6pm, record lovers can dig through crates from some of the region’s best sellers – Flo Records, Tropical Hi-Fi, Hold Steady Records and Black Circle Records, all under one roof. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or just curious, there’s always gold to be found.
Keeping the atmosphere alive all day are vinyl DJs Papa Bitcho and Sunny Side Up, spinning records from lunchtime until the sun goes down. Vintage clothing stalls add to the vibe, and Common Hearth will be on hand with simply good food made from primo local ingredients. It’s also a landmark day for Wandana’s own offering, with the launch of a new brew and new cocktails featuring their house-distilled spirits – a good reason to pull up a stool and stay a while.
On Sunday the action continues with something a little different. The Royal Enfield One Ride is a global event held annually, celebrating Royal Enfield riders the world over and bringing them together in their local communities. This year, the GC Royal Enfield Riders Club and Grid Motorcycles will be finishing their ride at Wandana. Arriving around midday, about 50 Royal Enfield motorcycles will be on display. A genuine gathering for motorcycle enthusiasts and curious onlookers alike.
Together, it makes for a week that captures everything Wandana does best – bringing people, music, culture and community together in one of the Byron Shires’ most relaxed settings.
Wandana Brewing Co is located at 20 Manns Road, Mullumbimby. The Record Fair is on Saturday from 12pm and the Royal Enfield One Ride display starts at 12pm on Sunday.
