Crystalbrook Byron and Better By Bike took out three gold awards at the recent 2026 North Coast Regional Tourism Awards in Coffs Harbour.
They were joined by three silver awards, one bronze award, and recognition as a finalist across a range of tourism categories.
Crystalbrook won two golds for Business Event Venues and 5 Star Accommodation with Better By Bike winning gold for Tourism Retail, Hire and Services.
Silver awards went to Vision Walks Eco Tours in ecotourism and Tour and Transport Operators, while Crystal Castle & Shambhala Gardens took out silver for Excellence in Accessible Tourism.
Crystal Castle & Shambhala Gardens also took out bronze in Tourist Attractions while Reflections Byron Bay – Tiny Homes, Big Views was a finalist in the Caravan and Holiday Parks category.
‘These awards celebrate the special experiences that keep people coming back and continue to make Byron Shire a world-class destination,’ said Byron Shire Mayor Sarah Ndiaye, who attended the awards gala.
Winners and finalists from the regional awards will now progress to the NSW Tourism Awards in November, with the opportunity to represent New South Wales at the Australian Tourism Awards in 2027.
