Is owning a gelato store Byron’s best job? Long-time Byron proprietors Glen and Tanya Lawrence develop and test all the flavours, and invite you to check them out yourself at the newly-renovated PINK store at 20A Jonson Street, Byron Bay’. Photo supplied

After 38 years of ‘In The Pink Byron Bay’ it was time for an exciting change. This local family business, known and loved in the community, is welcoming a new chapter with a complete renovation of the shop and a rebrand to ‘PINK’.

They are bringing a fresh twist to their quality gelato. A refined range of flavours will spotlight the seasons and connect customers to a taste of the community’s best seasonal produce. Expect a burst of ripe, delicious Fresh Strawberry, and Passionfruit, and the core flavours for every season, like the famous Sticky Date, with cake sourced locally from Byron Hot Bread Kitchen.

The new layout of the shop will take customers into the world of artisan gelato making. It will create an immersive experience with the process and people behind the scenes. Up close, there will be something to learn every day, so be sure to bring the kids along.

Another key focus will be on collaborations with local businesses. In the Pink is already deeply embedded in the community through the support of local schools, sporting teams, and the Byron Bay Surf Club. PINK will build on this with specials inspired by other incredible businesses unique to the area.

The PINK team invites everyone, including past staff, regulars and fresh faces to come in and celebrate this new beginning with them. It is with the support of the Byron community that the heart of the business is strong, and can continue for many years to come.
