The Lennox Head Lions Club are running the Town and Gown Art Show this coming weekend to raise funds for the Lennox Head Public School to fund essential extracurricular activities and vital educational materials.
This spectacular weekend-long exhibition bridges the gap between established regional creators and the next generation of talent. The show features a stunning array of artwork available for purchase, showcasing both professional pieces from regional artists and creative submissions from the students of Lennox Head Public School.
The festivities kick off with the Opening Night on Friday, 18 September at 6pm, $10 entry at the door with drinks and nibbles.
The exhibition then continues on Saturday and Sunday with entry by a gold coin donation.
Visitors of all ages can cast their votes for the People’s Choice Artwork which will be awarded after counting the votes on Sunday.
Sunday, 20 September promises to be a major highlight for families. The Lennox Head School Choir and Band will take the stage in the late morning, followed by a classic Lions BBQ starting at 12 noon.
The weekend wraps up with an exciting Grand Finale Silent Auction.
