Good news for dog lovers and beer lovers alike: the pups are heading back to Stone & Wood on Saturday, 19 September for a special Dog Adoption Day, Spring Edition!
The Byron Bay brewery is once again teaming up with Willow Tree Sanctuary for a wholesome Saturday filled with paws, pints, pats and possibly your new best mate.
From 11am the Stone & Wood Tasting Room will be taken over by a pack of very good doggos on the lookout for their forever homes. Visitors will have the chance to meet a gorgeous crew of canines including Rupert, Luigi, Lizzy, Jemima and Mango.
Whether you’re already looking to adopt, thinking about fostering or just keen for some pats and interested to learn more about animal rescue, everyone’s welcome. The Willow Tree Sanctuary team will be on hand throughout the day to chat through the adoption process and help match dogs with the right homes.
Stone & Wood’s Venue Manager, Kurtis Day, said the brewery is excited to once again team up with Willow Tree Sanctuary for another Dog Adoption Day. ‘We love having the hounds in the house and are always up for assisting Willow Tree with the incredible work they do for animals in our community.’
Co-Founder of Willow Tree Sanctuary, Kate Morris, says if you have been thinking of adding a new member to your family, the Stone & Wood Dog Adoption Day is a great opportunity to meet some of the wonderful dogs that are currently looking for homes. ‘If you’re interested in fostering, you can also chat to some of our Willow Tree Sanctuary foster parents for a first-hand account of what’s involved.’
Petcare Byron Bay will also be at the brewery, supporting Stone & Wood Dog Adoption Day with raffle prizes and gifts for dog lovers who sign up to foster or adopt.
So head on down, enjoy a beer, meet some adorable pups and maybe even find your new best mate. They can’t wait to see you there!
