The Byron Bay-Lennox Head Under-16 rugby league team has capped off a fantastic season with a memorable grand final victory over the Tweed Seagulls.

In a thrilling and nerve-racking contest at Tweed Seagulls on Saturday, the young men held their composure to secure a hard-fought 30–20 win and claim the premiership.

Led by coach Nick Asser, the team has enjoyed an outstanding season, with the players’ determination and teamwork shining through when it mattered most.

Adding to the celebrations, Red Devil Dolphin star Jasiah Murgha was named Player of the Match for an impressive performance.

The team now has another challenge ahead, taking on Ballina this Saturday at 1.30pm at Dave Burns Fields at South Tweed Fields in the Titans Challenge. The match will determine the best Under-16 side in the Northern Rivers.

Local supporters are encouraged to get behind the young Red Devils as they look to finish their remarkable season on another high.
