Survey results for those who participated: 95 per cent for a moratorium; 5 per cent opposed (trades, real estate etc); 99.5 per cent want an audit; 97 per cent opposed rate increase; 3 per cent agreed to increase if money spent on infrastructure etc.

Random ratepayers surveyed shire-wide face-to-face.

There is also a petition with over 1,000 signatures in opposition to the rate increase. IPART will decide on the SRV in February 2027.
