Thought of trying your hand at bowls? Mullumbimby Bowling Club are inviting local businesses to create their own team of between three to six players and come down and join in the fun.

There will be four consecutive Friday evening games from 9 October onwards.  With daylight savings having just started they will be starting at 5.30pm and have a 12 team maximum.

‘Teams will play triples, three bowlers per team (rotation of additional participants is OK), three bowls each, two games per night each consisting of eight ends,’ explained organiser Tony Hampton.

‘The bar will be open and Pocket Curries will be rink-side serving delicious warm food. There will be weekly prizes plus scores will be recorded to find our champion team after the conclusion of the four weeks.’

Barefoot Fridays

Following the four week event they are then looking to keep going with Barefoot Fridays bowling.
