This Thursday, 2 July (tonight) the Northern Rivers Community Foundation (NRCF) Women’s Giving Circle is bringing a stellar lineup of leaders to the Regent Theatre in Murwillumbah to discuss how progress happens across climate, gender equality, media, democracy, and community action – and why local action still matters.

Not-for-profit philanthropic organisation,  Northern Rivers Community Foundation (NRCF), have released their annual report for 2025, revealing $2.4m was raised, and 121 projects funded across the region.

NRMA Insurance, through its Help Fund initiative, is committing $800,000 over the next two years to introduce a participatory grants program in the Northern Rivers region. In partnership with the Northern Rivers Community Foundation (NRCF), the program empowers locals to shape solutions to strengthen resilience against extreme weather.

Grassroots community groups and not-for-profits across the Northern Rivers are invited to apply for the Northern Rivers Community Foundation’s (NRCF) 2025-2026 Annual Community Grants round.
