Nitazenes, synthetic opioids, have been detected in all types of drugs from counterfeit pharmaceuticals like Valium and oxycodone to, MDMA, ketamine, cocaine, methamphetamine – they're even being found in vapes.  

With the North Coast having the highest percentage of illicit drug use by people in Australia aged 14 years and over locals are calling to have one day of the NSW Drug Summit held in Lismore.

On budget eve the banner ‘Premier, you promised. Drug Summit Now’ was dropped across from NSW Parliament calling on NSW Labor to set a date for the long awaited NSW Drug Summit.

Neighbours of the aged care facility in Kingscliff run by Uniting say that while they are supportive of further development of the site, the current proposal is a ‘significant overdevelopment’, and Uniting have ‘definitely not listened to the community’s concerns’.
