Imagine being raped or killed and being blamed. That’s how it’s been for women in a patriarchy that instead of holding the perpetrator to account, asks ‘What was she wearing?’, ‘Why was she walking on that street at that time of night?’, ‘Was she a sex worker?’ These are the wrong questions.

Over the past year, Byron Theatre has welcomed some extraordinary musicians to its stage, giving Northern Rivers audiences the opportunity to experience world-class jazz right in the heart of Byron Bay.

This Thursday, women and men of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to take part in the Reclaim the Night march in Lismore as part of the annual Reclaim the Night marches that happen around the country.

This October, Mental Health month, audiences are invited to step into the world of All of Us and discover what happens when twelve strangers are forced to look beyond their differences and question what they think they know.
