Please chill out! Recently I’ve noticed an increase of aggression on our roads, particularly in Byron CBD, and it’s frequently from our friends across the border going by the number plates. Tailgaiting, gap filling, beeping for no reason, speeding up when pedestrians are trying to cross (even for elderly or families and children).
Our infrastructure isn’t set up for lots of traffic, but being aggressive towards other drivers and pedestrians is not going to help your cause – it just makes everyone feel anxious.
What’s everyone in a rush for anyway – it’s Byron isn’t it?
Looking forward to the day our town facilitates pedestrians and has park-and-ride schemes in place.
Visiting Byron? Take a moment to smile or say hello to people on the street.
