Valentines Mixed Pairs Special held at the club on Sunday attracted forty bowlers from far and wide and with great weather and great company the day went off well. Winners were: r/up of the losers – Bob Mullens and Barbara Makin; winners of the losers – Kym Quinnell and Syl Reid; r/up of the winners – Wilf and Barbara Sprengel; Overall winners – Dick Aldridge and Lorraine Earea.

Tuesday’s Singles with Gavin McPhail starts at 1pm with cash prize so be early. Winner this week was Werner Borkhardt.

Thursday’s self-selected pairs winners are Cam ‘Camshaft’ Stone. Grahame Huxley and Jim Gurtsen, runners-up Greg Daniels and Syl Reid. Meat tray won by Brian Corrigan. Jackpot not won, now $450.

We have decided to start bowls a little earlier due to the heat at this time of year. So that we can be out on the green at 9.15am for bowls we are asking that names be in by 8.45am (and money by 9am) for those wishing to have a game. Be at the club by then or ring your name through.
