Exciting lineup for 2021 Bangalow Music Festival

Southern Cross Soloists (SXS) yesterday unveiled a stellar Bangalow Music Festival program for August 2021. The theme for the 19th festival is 'music’s inexhaustible joie de vivre'.


Little Athletics is a great activity that promotes family, fun and fitness.

At Tweed Little Athletics, sponsored by Seagulls, children from all age groups from Under 5 to Under 17 years, learn the basic athletic skills of running, jumping and throwing.

These are fun activities in which all children, regardless of ability, are encouraged to participate and to improve on their own personal best performance (PB). To do this Little Athletics provides competitions on Saturday mornings, and provides free training/ coaching activities during the week.

Little Athletics is a fitness activity. From the simple warm-up exercises, which precede each meeting and training session, to the actual running, jumping and throwing events, all Little Athletics activities are designed to help improve your child’s fitness and wellbeing.

Athletes have the opportunity to participate in Regional, State and National competitions, which are run throughout the season.

Tweed Little Athletics are having their 2014/15 season sign-on soon.

The new season to begins in September 20. Both new and re-registering athletes are welcome.

When: Sign-on dates are Sunday August 24 and 31, 10am-12pm.
