Police arrested a 45-year-old man in Nimbin yesterday morning and charged him over a stash of stolen jewellery, drugs and weapons following a tip-off from Queensland police.
About 10am on Tuesday, police from Richmond Local Area Command searched a home in Nimbin, following the tip-off in relation to a robbery on the Gold Coast.
They allegedly found a large amount of property believed to be stolen including jewellery, alcohol, antiques, cash and a stash of drugs including ice.
The man was arrested and taken to Lismore police station and later charged with property, drug and firearm offences.
