Luck is the theme of the upcoming Fed Talks, with an eclectic group of locals sharing their stories on Saturday night, May 21.
The annual fundraiser helps keep Fed Talks afloat for the year, co-organiser Alan Goldstein says.
MC is comedian, artist and author Mandy Nolan, and guest speakers include novel writer, essayist and tree-hugger Kate Veitch and poet, author, film producer and former tour manager for the Rolling Stones and The Grateful Dead, Sam Cutler.
Also onstage will be ‘Mullumbimby-raised natural talent’ Jack Long, the creative brain behind Bigfish digital agency and award-winning short-filmmaker Sheldon Lieberman.
Yoga teacher and ex-US Gulf War veteran Danielle Purcell will also speak, as will SCU creative-writing tutor and ex-chef Jim Hearn, and TV producer, film reviewer, researcher and author Victor Marsh.
