A female police officer will face court later this month after an off-duty incident at a Coffs Harbour pub.
It is alleged the officer was involved in an altercation at the premises on Saturday night (March 4), refusing to leave when asked to do so and assaulting another police officer who attempted to remove her.
The officer, who is attached to a specialist command, is having her work status reviewed.
She was charged with remaining in vicinity of licensed premises, resisting police officer in the execution of duty (x2) and assaulting police officer.
The detective senior constable was granted bail and is to appear before the Coffs Harbour Local Court on Monday 27 March 2017.
