One correspondent wrote last week: ‘Brain cancer kills more children today than any other disease in Australia and adults under 40 in Australia than any other cancer’. He was implying that electromagnetic radiation was the cause.
He failed to mention that nowadays very few children in Australia die of any disease (rates of deaths under five years of age are now one quarter of their level 40 years ago); that brain cancer has become the number one killer disease of children (after congenital problems) not because it has increased but because other diseases like leukemia are now being treated more effectively; that rates of brain cancer are not significantly increasing (https://theconversation.com/
