This is a message to all responsible owners of young puppies and dogs that frequent the off-leash area at Belongil Beach. For the protection of yourself and your pet dogs please think twice before running the gauntlet at the Main Beach carpark access point.
Bewarer of the growing number of dangerous and irresponsibly handled dogs in that zone, it’s not worth walking your dog through any part the breakwall pathway adjacent to the carpark. I say this based what’s happened twice to my leashed 15-week-old puppy.
Try Suffolk instead or consider using a different access point farther up Belongil.
