Police have released CCTV images of two people accused of being connected to the alleged robbery of a van, multiple e-bikes, smart devices, credit cards and IDs.

Byron Bay say they recovered a stolen 2021 White LDV van at Belongil Beach Carpark on 1 June 2025.
They say the van had been stolen from Southport QLD a fortnight earlier and was unattended when a member of the public tracked their stolen e-bike to the rear of the van.
Upon opening the vehicle, say police, more than 60 exhibits were logged, including multiple e-bikes, 15 laptops/tablets, 6 mobile phones, and numerous identity documents and credit cards.
Police say all items are believed to be stolen and they are actively tracking owners and returning items in NSW and QLD.

Police are urging anyone with information to call Byron Bay Police Station on 02 6685 9499, Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or use the crime stoppers online reporting page: http://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au.
