
A man in his fifties reportedly suffered burns owing to a gas bottle explosion near Tenterfield over the weekend.
Emergency services said they responded to a call for help around 8.30 Friday morning.
Paramedics treated the man on-scene before driving him to Drake for a medical transfer.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter medical team airlifted him to Lismore Base Hospital.
