One of the developers behind the West Byron suburb opposite the Arts & Industry Estate is asking Council to reduce the number of construction stages from seven to three, and reduce the construction time period between stages from 12 to three months.

Known as the Harvest Estate, DA 10.2017.201.2 comprises 149 residential lots and ‘green infrastructure’, and was approved by the NSW Land and Environment Court in December 2020 after years of public opposition.

The applicant has supplied Council with consultant reports on Statement of Environmental Effects, ecological advice and engineering to support their request.
