A number of north coast schools remain closed today due to flooding or power problems.
Richmond River High School has been particularly badly affected by flooding and may not re-open until Monday.
Coorabell, Durrumbul, Goonengerry, Main Arm, The Pocket and Wilson Park public schools all remain closed pending power being restored.
Parents of children attending Leeville Public School and Stratheden Public School are advised to check with the school this morning.
