Police investigating a suspicious death last week at Baryulgil, 70km north of Grafton, have charged a man with murder.
About 11.15am on Thursday 7 November 2013, a 39-year-old man was found dead at Collum Collum Station.
A crime scene was established, and following investigations into the man’s death police arrested a 42-year-old man at the scene.
He was taken to Grafton Police Station and charged with dangerous driving causing death.
Following the results of a post mortem examination, the charges against the man were upgraded to murder when he appeared at Grafton Local Court yesterday (Monday November 11).
He was remanded in custody and will next appear at Grafton Local Court on 13 January 2014.
