were killed when the cars they were driving were involved in a head-on smash on the Coast Road at Lennox Head in the early hours of Saturday morning.Just after 2.30am, police were called to the accident and on arrival found a Toyota Camry sedan and a Ford Fairlane sedan had collided.
Ambulance paramedics attended, however the two male drivers died at the scene.
A 30-year-old male passenger in the Fairlane was taken to hospital with internal injuries but in a stable condition.
Police said speed appeared to be a factor in the accident.
They were told that the Camry driven by the 19-year-old man travelling north appeared to lose control before crossing onto the wrong side of the road and colliding with the Fairlane, believed to be a limousine hire vehicle.
The two men are yet to be named and the Crash Investigation Unit is investigating the cause of the accident.
