Once again Bob Higgins from RMS seems to be guilty of misinformation in his attempt to explain to the public and our politicians the reasons for supporting the 2C Broadwater to Ballina route.
Why should the RMS simply widen the current route when for hundreds of millions of taxpayers’ dollars extra they can wipe out the local koala population, make the route longer, more flood prone and extend construction time with their RMS preferred 2C route?
Probably because large construction companies have been promised they can tender on a large highway construction project that could make them a fortune.
