… Hugh Jackman and Deborra Lee-Furness?

If you think getting that pesky marketing call at 6pm is a waste of time, what if you were surveyed on which famous couple you’d want to holiday with? The results were, well, dare I say ‘interesting’ (I prefer to stay at home, no kids and definitely no celebrities to spoil the peace and quiet – but that’s just me)

Here’s what the intelligentsia behind this phone survey gleaned from us Aussies.

Top 5 celebrity couples that Aussies want to holiday with:

1. Hugh Jackman & Deborra Lee-Ferness (42 per cent)

2. Hamish Blake & Zoe Foster (13 per cent)

3. Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban (12 per cent)

4. Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie (8 per cent)

5. Ellen DeGeneres & Portia (7 per cent)

Island-paradise-2The survey was conducted among 9,850 Australians in September this year and, 42 per cent stated they would want to go on a holiday with the Wolverine star and his wife.

I’m guessing going on holiday with any of these couples would mean having a zoom lens in your privates along with candid photos ending up in The Echo (or some other celebrity rag) – and unless you’re famous, few people want their private bits snapped.

So, the point of all this life-saving intel is that the company who did the survey also can fix a sexy holiday that’s similar to, but not exactly the same or doesn’t have the company of the aforementioned star couples.

LuxuryEscapes.com do however offer affordable holidays to five-and six-star resorts in Australia and overseas. Some of these are the very celebrity favourites intimated in this shameless plug: Yasawa Island Resort for example and Jean-Michel Cousteau eco resort, both exclusive private island resorts in Fiji, along with the JW Marriott in Khao Lak in Thailand, have all been featured on the travel site at insider rates. Travel packages include hotel stays at five-and six-star properties, and inclusions such as VIP airport transfers, spa treatments, breakfast buffets and degustation dinners.

So, if the phone is ringing right now, don’t hang up, you could make a real difference to someone’s exclusive holiday (otherwise tell them you’ll ring ’em back if they tell you Hugh Jackman’s mobile number).
