I work for a very large agency that cares for people in their homes at all hours to maintain independence and dignity for all.
Recently we were all shafted when the government sold us lock, stock and barrel up the river into privatisation.
For the sake of their bank balance, they sold our job security and our identities. We don’t know how this is going to impact on our wages, our families and our futures.
We no longer trust in anything that the government has to say and now we are being told that the small benefit that we work hard for is going to also be taken away.
Who runs this country, the people or the self important fat cats in Canberra who are elected by us, paid by us, yet rarely echo our needs?
