Police have charged a man with drug and firearm offences, after a vehicle stop on the north coast late last week.
About 1.45pm Thursday (June 2), police from Coffs/Clarence Highway Patrol Command, were conducting a mobile breath test as part of Operation North Coast when a man was stopped for a breath test on Armidale Road, Coutts Crossing, 20km south of Grafton.
Police allege they located cannabis and methyl-amphetamine and a double-barrel shotgun in the car.
A 29-year-old man was arrested and taken to Grafton Police Station.
He was charged with drug and firearm offences.
He was released on conditional bail, to appear at Grafton Local Court on Monday July 18.
