Luscious Foods, tucked away in the Arts & Industry Estate, has long been a favourite with locals, nearby workers and any tourists lucky enough to stumble across it. With a relaxing vibe, outdoor seating and service with a smile, it really is a little oasis in the area. Luscious serves up delicious food with a Middle Eastern twist alongside local coffee, fresh juices, home-made pastries and cakes. From your traditional breakfast and lunch dishes to the more exotic Shakshuka eggs or Saneeah platters, there really is something for everyone.
If you want to bring the Middle Eastern experience home, Zohar and his team offer a catering service that can create a unique, delicious menu to suit any occasion. Taking centre stage in the cafe is the wood-fired oven, which they put to good use turning out not only great pizzas, but also traditional breads and even omelettes. Local produce is used wherever possible including award-winning northern rivers favourite Salumi salami. Until recently, the only time you could get your Luscious fix was Monday to Friday from 7.30 till 3. Now the Luscious love is being spread a little further and you can pick up one of their amazing pizzas any Thursday, Friday or Saturday night between 5.30 and 9. And if you’re lucky enough to be in Sunrise, the Arts and Industry Estate or Ewingsdale, they’ll even deliver it straight to your door. Weekends just got better.
A Luscious wood-fired pizza captured on film in its native environment. You can now pick them up or, if you live near Sunrise, have them delivered.
