
Police are searching for a man who stole cash from a donation wishing well in the front foyer of the Lismore Base Hospital yesterday.
After reviewing CCTV footage, police said the man had also tried to manipulate a ‘clown’ charity statue in the same area of the hospital.
‘It appears that a large amount of donated money has been stolen as the man’s pockets were bulging with change,’ police said.
Police have released a picture taken from the CCTV of a man they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
