A 42-year-old woman has been tracked down to Maryborough in Queensland after trashing a Kyogle motel room and leaving without paying.
Police will allege that the Queensland woman booked accommodation for several nights at a Kyogle motel back in July.
Staff entered the motel room on 22 July to find that she had left without paying.
Cooking utensils and coat hangers had been stolen and there was a large amount of damage to fittings in the room.
Kyogle police eventually tracked her to Maryborough, Queensland.
She has been charged with Fail to Pay For Accommodation, Steal From Dwelling and Malicious Damage.
Police said they would be applying for compensation on behalf of the motel owners.
