Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash at Casino on Christmas Day.
At about 2pm emergency services were called to the Naughtons Gap Road after a Toyota Avalon and a Holden Epica collided.
The driver and sole occupant of the Toyota Avalon, a 67-year-old woman, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the Holden Epica were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for minor injuries.
Officers from Traffic and Highway Patrol Command and Richmond Local Area Command attended the scene.
An investigation into the crash is underway and a brief will be prepared for the coroner.
