Tweed police are trying to track down a family after a boat was broken into, resulting in $100,000 damage.
The vessel received significant water damage as a result of the bilge pump being tampered with, resulting in a significant amount of water to enter the vessel.
Police are seeking the identity of the family shown in photographs as ‘they may be able to assist us with our enquiries’.
Police said the owner of the boat was in Sydney at the time it was broken into and flew back to inspect the damage.
