
Banora Point won the consolation playoff in the NSW Primary Schools AFL knockout competition after narrowly losing to eventual winners Deniliquin South.
Deniliquin easily won the final keeping Sydney’s Kings Langley goalless in the championship play-off powering home 35 points the better, 6.2-38–0.3-3.
But Deniliquin’s passage was not smooth as they narrowly survived a thriller against Banora Point Public School by just four points, eventually securing their entry to the main event 5.5-35 –5.1-31.
Banora Point won the consolation playoff beating Riverina side, Griffith East Public School (8.4-52–2.0-12).
