A word of warning folks. A shark attack isn’t all you have to fear from a visit to our local beaches. A paddy wagon is now making regular patrols south of Brunswick Heads beach and dog walking section.
What are they looking for? People who have walked more than a kilometre down the beach, respectfully out of sight of anyone else, who have slipped in for a swim wearing only their skin.
With no-one else around to be affected by our ‘offensive behaviour’, the police, who have driven onto a quiet part of the coastline fishing for easy fines, have themselves been ‘offended’ (admittedly, we are well past our prime), and issued us with a hefty fine.
Why are there no obvious signs at Brunswick Heads to alert locals and visitors alike to this kind of aggressive policing? Blind Freddy can see what’s going on here.
The ‘Nudie Police’ should just give it up. This is just wasting police resources, no public benefit at all in The ‘Nudie Police’ trolling deserted beaches in the faint hope that they might catch a Naturist.
