Concept plans for the Ballina Indoor Sports Centre.

The Ballina Shire Council has released a video outlining the plans and design of the proposed Ballina Indoor Sports Centre, which will be built as part of the new Ballina Coast High School.

The council’s coordinator of the project Chris Allison described the release of the concept plans as an exciting stage of the proposed development.

Mr Allison said the concept design for the centre, including a full video of the design, was finalised and the development application was lodged on 29 January, 2018.

‘This is a collaborative project between Ballina Shire Council, stakeholder groups and the NSW Department of Education, where council will construct a two court indoor sports centre to be integrated with the development of the new Ballina Coast High School,’ he said.
