Lyle Raison, Mullumbimby
Recently I revisited Mullumbimby, once my home town. I was appalled with the poor condition of the roads in town and the broader Shire.
After singing praise to a friend of the once-beautiful Mullumbimby I was embarrassed by the condition of the roads.
Also, I noticed the grids at roundabouts to keep the koalas off the highway. If the council is earnest in assisting the future of koalas in the district they should look seriously at removing the camphor trees growing throughout the Shire and plant more koala-friendly eucalyptus trees.
