A long-standing supporter of Byron Community Centre, Global Ripple, has stepped forward with a generous ‘EOFY Matched Giving Challenge’.
The Byron Community Centre runs homeless services including the Fletcher Street Cottage, and is reliant on public donations to operate. They receive sparse government funding for their essential services.
As a non-profit charity, Global Ripple operate an op shop on Ewsingdale Rd, Byron Bay.
The centre’s Bec Robinson says, ‘From now until midnight on 30 June, Global Ripple will match every donation dollar-for-dollar, up to a total of $30,000’.
‘That means your impact is instantly doubled: $50 becomes $100; $100 becomes $200; and $500 becomes $1,000. This is a powerful opportunity to make twice the difference for people in our community facing hard times.
‘If you’ve been considering making a tax-deductible donation, now is the time. Your support can help provide meals, care, connection and practical support for locals who need it most – and today, it will go twice as far. But please don’t wait.
‘This matching opportunity – and your EOFY year tax deduction – ends at midnight tomorrow. Thank you for standing with Fletcher Street Cottage as we double your impact.
