In the early hours of Thursday morning the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter flew a man who had fallen off his skateboard in Lennox Head to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
Mick Murphy was flown to the hospital at 3am in a critical condition having suffered head injuries. According to the Richmond police he is still in the Gold Coast Hospital.
Currently there is a gofundme page that is raising money to help Mick and his wife and two daughters at this difficult time.
